i extracted only the cores of some achuma and received 200 mg per foot of brownish hcl salting from limo, this is after many dry acetone washes. on my last salting i chilled the limo and salted again receiving a nearly white tan powder.

upon extracting some outter flesh of achuma with hcl from dlimo i noticed that the cleaned extract is greyish tan

i think that chilling the nps pushes out the last of the alkaloids into the salt solution which seem to be primarily pure mescaline, also the cores and outter flesh yielded completely different shades of tan

a popular older salting method involves freezing the np and salting water together to get traces of water/alks out of the np

That's a cool tip. Would it be equally beneficial to freeze just the NP while the water remains liquid? Such would be applicable using coconut oil, tallow, or some other high freezing point substance as the NP.
