Personally, I would take that gram and flush it straight down the toilet and be grateful that I did so...
I have never read a positive report of the stuff.
The vids that are out there show people having a frightened, horrible time.
I am sure that there are a few people that can align with this plant and enjoy its effects.
To me, it sounds like the stuff of nightmares and there is nothing on this earth that would make me take it @ 1x ... let alone 30x.
I really hope you read everything and arm yourself with knowledge before you take that plunge.
Good luck.
Well, if you’ve never read a positive salvia report, then you haven’t been reading much here at the Nexus.
I’ve said repeatedly that I’ve never had a negative experience with salvia. That said, salvia rarely produces any sort of euphoria, so for people expecting that, salvia is not a good choice.
To the OP:
My advice would be to start slow. Early on, there is a reverse tolerance – a dose that has no effect one session may have a moderate effect the next session and a strong effect by the 3rd or 4th time. No need to rush into things when salvia is concerned. Develop a relationship with it. This takes time.
Legitimate 30X is strong stuff – a good dose to start with would be about 7mg. A full-blown breakthrough after some reverse tolerance has developed can be had with 14mg. 20mg would give a very “forceful” experience – unpleasant for many.
Some people find the physical sensations that accompany the early phase of a salvia experience to be uncomfortable – you may feel “pins and needles” over your whole body, or you might feel like your body is being flattened, or stretched, or rolled, or twisted in very unusual ways. If you find these sensations fascinating as I do, you’re off to a good start. If not, it’s a lousy way to start an experience.
A strong dose of salvia (14mg or more of 30X) may likely give you total ego loss – you will have no memory of who you are, likely no memory of having been a human being, and certainly no memory of having taken salvia. It’s when in this state that your “core self” is in control. If your core is tranquil, you’ll have a good experience. If your core is fearful, you’ll likely be terrified.
Salvia experiences are easy to describe, yet difficult to “decode”. The messages (when and if there are messages) are rarely plain and simple. As far as I can tell, there are oftentimes no messages at all. If you’re looking for a truly bizarre and potentially frightening experience, then salvia is for you.
Having said all of that, I’ll try to give you an idea of what a salvia experience is for me by free-associating words and phrases that come to mind when thinking about it:
Homecoming, family, impish children singing, a circus, physical transformation, physical blossoming, loss of self, 1950’s suburbia, green grass, blue skies, turning into a tent, all of reality becoming a 2-dimensional sheet, layers of reality, seeing neighboring realities that are just a millimeter away from ours, truths revealed and then quickly hidden, a carnival, paranoia – realizing everyone else “knows”, physically turning inside-out, a whole world made of tiles or blocks, emotional flatness, feeling you could stay “there” if you made the choice, true home, disappointment with this “plain” reality on return, multi-dimensional…
