Same batch of Solvent, 2 differnet outcomings.? HELPP!!!

Hi ..

SWIM was doing an Extraction on Watcha-Tek, and collected all pulls in 1 container..
Then did y sodium-carbonate wash, twice and filles in 3 Glas dishes...
After freeze-precip, One had a bit fairly light yellow-colored
and the other 2 you can see on the Photo...
It was pulled with Zipo-Lighter Fluid.
ok, if those wheredifferent pulls , i could understand.
But coming out of the same collection container, (5 pulls alltogether) he wouldnt have expected not 2 totally different looking products.

And why, although he washed the solvent twice with Sodium-carbonate and once with cold water, did this again and pput then in the freezer..

Why is it that Red-outcome... not even a single white chrystal shows up..
He is a bit scared of doing a Re-X, because he only has some naphtha left, and no heptan, bestine.

Last Re-X he tried with naphtha is in the freezer for 9 days now, and it doesnt chrystallize at all..
freezer has -28°C, which should work well...

where does all the red come from. As i said, no Xylene, or toluene used for pulling

Anybody got an advice for SWIM????

he ordered some bestine now from the states, because he couldnt find any to buy in Germany..

so before starting dong a new re-x, he neeeds to wait at least 14 days for delivery which is quite long...

Isn't here someone who could give advice..???

you could try to rewash it with the bit of naptha you have left then show product after, but best bet would be to wait for the bestine to show up, just a thought.. i personally couldn't tell you why you got different results from the same batch, maybe the one with less has a bit less fats in it :? .. hope for the best results for ya, i just had a bad experience doing a re-x on some spice myself.. a FOAF spilled my naptha that was rich with spice

Are you quite sure you were using MHRB?
Not sure what to make of all that red...

Just hang onto it once its dried until you get a definitive answer...:|

Yeah,, Was the same MHRB powder i order from a shop in NL as usual..

Another weird thing was , first 2 pulls did with fresh solvent, which all came out reddish, 3rd one with already used naphtha from a previous extract, came out normal light yellow colored.. 4th pull, i used some new fresh napththa again, it was reddish again.
Swim did another pull now with some used naphtha from the first 2 pulls, which was normal light yellow again...
its freezing acually, but looks as if there came out just white... will know in an hour, or so....
