So everything I look at kind of just beats around the bush or maybe I haven't looked hard enough but my question is how much dmt could be in naphtha (maximum saturation i geuss) per ml or for every 50 ml or so at room temp and while freezing. Or how could I figure that out I am very new to chemistry and all of this as a whole so any help would be aprecciated.

Well recently a Freind has been repetedly trying to freeze precipitate and it continually keeps just turning into a sheet of white so I'm trying to help her think of any possible reason it could not be working She thought maximum / minimum saturation would be good to look into.

I also think chemistry is AMAZING even though I am so new to it all!

Did yo melt the sheet of white?

Have you picked the FP jar from the freezer once the white layer is there, poured immediately through coffee filter, and returned the closed jar inside of the freezer upside down so the solvent traces will drop out of the white sheet?

And btw, remember you can always edit a previous post 😉

Instead of using a coffee filter She transferred it into another jar but then yes She flipped it upside down for a few hours in the freezer same thing happens it all melts it's very odd should she leave it in for longer? I geuss that's the obvious thing to do but she didnt because she thought there would be a better option

The actual values are about 1 gram in 30mL at room temp to almost insoluble at temps in a very cold freezer. I suspect around 0 degrees F. I've tried very hard to recover any spice in the naphtha after a very cold freeze precip. I'm fairly certain greater than 99% crashes out. perhaps as low as 95% but I think its closer to the former. The best way to saturate your pulls is by first evaporating the solvent until it starts to turn cloudy when you blow lightly on it. This means it is approaching saturation levels and allow for crystals to form at lower temps. Hope this helps.

That does help a lot but this is the trial and error so only about 100 grams of acrb so I'm guessing Shes gonna need to evap a lot! Thanks for everybody's input I've learned a hood but just from this day alone :)
