Hello All This my first post

what is the differance between.

Scopolamine Hydrobromide, butylbromide and methyl Nitrate Can not see theForest for the trees.

Thanks JOE :d

Scopolamine hydrobromide is a salt of the base Scopolamine, it's a very dangerous and toxic substance used to rob and rape in Sout America

Scopolamine butylbromide is the butylbromide salt of Scopolamine. Despite the structural analogy it is used against spasms.

Scopolamine Methyl nitrate is a drug used as an anticholinergic agent to treat motion sickness, as an adjunct in treating duodenal and gastric ulcers, and to treat infantile colic.

Basically, at high doses (which is quite a low amount), everyone of these can kill you. Better stay awy

Scopolamine (AKA Hyoscine) is an anti-cholinergic .The key difference between the salts hydrobromide/butylbromide/methyl nitrate relates to how they behave at the blood brain barrier. Scopolamine butylbromide penetrates poorly, making it useful for its peripheral actions such as for colic and will not cause central effects such as drowsiness. The hydrobromide salt does cross the BBB making it more suited for treating vestibular disorders and nausea; its psychic effects will therefore be more marked than the butylbromide. The methyl nitrate salt also doesnt cross the BBB; this compound is used when researching antidotes to nerve agents, IIRC.

Hello and thank you for taking the time to teach me ,JOE
PS Are The plant based scopolamines say from the Burundanga / borrachio tree
