I reduced my mescaline sulfate and water solution in a steel pot. I realise i should not have what can i do to seperate the green iron sulfate from my mescaline sulfate? All advice is welcome. Nexttime there will be 0 reduction step do not worry.

Can i re basify with sodium carbonate or potassium hydroxide an pull with xylene? I cannot find a lot of information on irons solubility.
Maybe pull with naphtha instead of xylene since mescaline is insoluble in naphtha.

You will have to extract the mescaline away from the iron. Base + xylene.

given your genius move prior, i would advise you just make tea for a while

Your rudeness is not helpful. It's also super out of character with what I usually encounter on this forum.

Mistakes are a part of learning. You are telling the op that because he made a mistake he should give up on his ambition to extract. That's bullshit.

OP, if at first you don't succeed, try again. Sure as hell do not give up.
