shelf life of RCs - decompose results?

Migrated topic.

hi everyone,

does anybody know what the shelf of 2C-C, 2C-D and 4-HO-MET is?

i have a small amount of them now for almost 2 years in a dry, (almost) airtight container without any sunlight.
are they still good?

what happens if they decompose? do they break down into any substances that might be dangerous?

greetings

Off the top of my head I seem to remember 2C's were generally stable but the 4-HO-MET showed degradation after some months/years, I could see it in TLC clearly forming another spot. I never figured out what that other compound was.

You can always test with TLC, see if you have a single spot, and if it's around the right height according to the TLC calculator and if the colorimetric reagent reactions match the database ones. That would indicate you're good to go

guess i will testing my chemicals before doing anything.
thank you

also the 4-ho-met was the one i was thinking about consuming the most.
turns out i don't enjoy the way 2c-c twists the mind.
i hope 2c-d is different
