Recently completed an extraction with the 4 year old bark pictured.
Got 1.2% super clean yield with no obvious degradation signs.
Stored in plastic wrap in a cardboard box (so in darkness) at room temperature (southern UK).
Only care taken is to keep dry dry dry.
After all, the alkaloids are in salt form in the bark presumably, so in theory if kept dry would last many years. I sure hope so.
The picture isnt as purpley as we know and love due to bright white lighting at night. Its just fluff really the proof is in the numbers
