side by side exp. used/clean naphtha, results: used pulls more

A friend of mine wanted some help for his 2nd extraction and we decided to try an exp. using the same mhrb powder, one batch will be with unused naphtha and one with previously run naphtha(1st pull new naphtha and last 3 used). used a scaled down version of watchas easy stb tek and were done side by side, exactly the same.

Results: the one with all fresh naphtha pulls got 1.45% and the batch with used naphtha got 1.74%

things to think about: it seems dirty naphtha pulls more but if that's true then is there more to get from the other batch if I tried some used naphtha or, was the stuff hiding in the used naphtha all along?

Pretty much, yes. I think there are higher chances of the used nps to be loaded from past uses, more than anything else.

If you freeze-precipitate your naptha, it doesn't precipitate all DMT contained in it, but only enough to keep it from oversaturation. So yes, your 'spent' naptha had a lot of DMT in it already: in fact, as much as it could possibly have held at the lowest temperature you had subjected it to.

Yes they were both freeze percipitated for 78hours. The naphtha was not evaped first.

So hes not getting 3% more from using used naphtha, its comming because the used naphtha had 3% left over from last extraction that couldn't 'fit' anymore? So that would mean theres still some(3%ish) in the used naphtha that needs an evap to collect? Hell yeah if thats true! Thanks in advance!

Do you mean 1.45% and 1.75%? If not, what does 14.5% mean?

You can also add FASA to used naphtha and look for crashing.
