1- how long it should take for the crystals to show in naptha which in freezer , and how long should i leave it in freezer? its been 4 hours and nothing there

2-if i want to extract dmt again (second time) should i just add new naptha to solution ? or add more water with NAOH ?

3- how long do you leave the naptha in mixingjar (MHRB solution)

4- what is the difference between using Zippo fuel and V&MP naptha

These are the only questions going through my mind.. i will be very appreciated if anyone could answer

1- In 4 hours I guess it should at least be cloudy, with maybe few specs forming. How much solvent did you use per pull vs how much mimosa? Did you put all pulls together or freezing separately? I think you should leave 12 hours or so.. Make sure freezer is cold (and check FAQ regarding "where's my snow globe")

2- You mean doing more pulls to the same basified mix? Yes add more naphtha or the reused naphtha from freeze precip after retrieving crystals

3- Its not about how long you leave. If its just standing, probably not much dmt is migrating to naphtha. The ideal is to make a few cycles of mixing/letting stand over, say, an hour or two, and then separating

4- Depends, zippo can change the content depending on area, batch, etc. It could be that zippo is just naphtha, it could be it has nasty additives. Always check msds, and make an evap test before using the solvent

i used 250 ml of naptha for 100gram of MHRB .. and thanks for the help , really useful

i think my first extraction failed , because i added the naptha to solution and left it for 1 hour with only 1 time stirring

yeah man, like I told you before your extraction is not lost! evap the naphtha, there might be some in there, but
use smaller volumes for the next pulls and agitate more.
I use about 70ml per pull for that amount and keep it in the mix for 12-24 hours, shaking whenever I go by. I shake and an emulsion forms but over the course of 1-2 hours the emulsion settles and then it's ready to be pulled. stirring or just leaving it in there isn't enough.
additionally a warm water bath can help, but make sure your glass doesN't break due to pressure inside, i.e. don't screw your top on.

Yea Ty i will try again with less amount of naptha ,but i need to know what was the problem in last extraction,i think there wasn't enough NAOH ? Because when i mixed the NAOH with water there was alot of NAOH stuck in the bottom ,can i add more water with NAOH to solution ?

and its almost 20 hour the old naptha in freezer and nothing came out :( ... its the time to get it out and evap it yea?

The answer to your NaOH problem is the colour of your sludge. Enough NaOH is when your sludge is black [Of course when looking at a single drop of it its dark brown, but in a vessel in which you did 100g of MHRB it looks black].
What was your volume of water?

And agree with the others. 250ml for the first pull is way too much. SWIM usually uses 0,5-1 mL solvent per g of MHRB in about 5-6 pulls.

And as the others said, constrain your solvent or just leave it in the freezer for like a month ;)
