Small changa question

Hi everyone I am new to these boards and I can't wait to get to know you all better! :)

Now onto the question.. If SWIM wanted to make changa, could he use a shot glass to mix it in and evaporate for a small batch?

He has never made it before and he doesn't want to waste precious spice.
 
I dont think it is the best glass to use, but I dont see any reason why it wouldnt work. It might take a while to evap because of the small surface area though. You just need to make sure that your herb covers the whole surface area, so that the spice infuses into it equally, so a flat bottomed glass / bowl / rammekin would work better I think.
 
So I am assuming that SWIM could only do a half gram batch in a shot glass. Does SWIM need to stir it around lots, or does he just leave it?.. Also, once the Acetone evaporates and the plant matter is still wet, does he just leave it in the shot glass to dry or take it out?
 
for sure stiring a lot would mean its better mixed but it will just not be cost-effective for you to be standing there mixing the whole time :D Just leave it evapping, go cook your food or listen to some music, and check on the evapping changa and mix a bit once in a while and you shall be fine, dont worry :)

any glass will work fine, its just the principle that, the more surface area, faster evaporation, but whatever way you do decide im sure it will work just fine

SWIMs first batch will be-
150mg Caapi 10/1 extract
250mg Caapi leaf
250mg Blue Lotus
500mg Spice
 
A shot glass works great if your not in a hurry. SWIM does a 1:1 straight Caapi changa. I like the shot glass. Works real good. Slow to Evap though.

Does swiy just shred the bark and soak it? Swim has a small amount of caapi on its way for this purpose. While I'm asking questions 😉, is it ok to use 70% ipa? Is there any reason naptha wouldn't work also?
 
Alright.. so SWIM put too much acetone in the mixture :? .. I hope it turns out alright
