Smoking advice - Help needed

Hi there

I was talking to a guy who recommended me to try smoking DMT with a Globe Vaporizer, and this method always works.

Has anyone tried this method? What can you tell me about this way to smoke?

I have never tried smoking with a Globe Vaporizer, and there is no screen in it to put your spice on. Would you just put the spice right on the heat coil? What if the coil heat up to much?

Im not sure if I want to try my VG again, since it didn't worked the first time, and I figured that it take a good smoking technique to aquire a nice experience. That being said, I haven't tried smoking pure spice on it with some screens and without other herbs/ash as some people on the forum suggested.

Any advice are appreciated.

im not sure how that device works but convection is preferable over conduction.

If you haven't i would recommend reading this and then try your VG again, or, infuse some herb and smoke it in a bong.

I would also advise you do a thorough search as there is an endless amount of info on smoalking on the forum

a crack pipe will use conduction to vaporise, you heat the glass pipe and this heat will (poorly) vaporise your DMT

a GVG will use convection to vaporise, you heat a ceramic filter and the hot air passes over the DMT and vapourises the DMT.

it is vaporisation through the hot air flow that you are after, not vaporisation through a heated surface. the crack pipe method will work but it is inefficient and unreliable.

please use the search function, ecigs have been covered extensively on the nexus. If you would just have done the most basic of searching like typing, globe vaporizer, in the search engine the first hit is of someone who already tried it.

I've always found GVG pipes to work the best. There is also the 'ghetto' vaporizer made from a soda bottle with the bottom cut away and replaced by a layer of aluminium foil. Whilst this method does work, I consider it a massive waste. Also, it often leaves a bad taste in your mouth. Nasty stuff, really.

I really recommend the sandwich method through a bong, a layer of spice between two layers of parsley/weed/ash etc. Check out the "key V2", I just made one for my bong and it works awesome. Of course this is just my opinion though. I have never tried a GVG, but I have tried many other methods including a "crack" pipe and never been as satisfied as with the faithful old bong.

Interesting. As that atomizer is designed for liquids. I wonder how it is that he was able to use it. I have the exact same device. They are used to replace smoking cigarettes.

Shotgun style glass pipe about 50cm long. Just like a peace pipe.

pillow of ash over a gauze, melt Dimitri into the pillow and then toast that. Lightly, so the smoke is like white fluffy vapour. Go anywhere near it with a flame or ember and it's ruined i tell ye!

Keep the flame about an inch from it and it'll still vape. Only the last little bit in the ash needs a lick.

Don't bother with the ecig. You just need to read the threads that 3rdI linked and get the technique right for the GVG. That or changa will be the most efficient means of smoalking spice.
