Hi guys,

I wanted to try and smoke blue lots alone before I enhance. People say it should taste like tea.

But for me I just have a burned taste. I would think this is normal but since other people describe it diffirently I can't help but wondering something is wrong.

Is there a wrong way to smoke this? I put it in a pipe, took a hit. I even just wrapped some in a paper and smoked it like that.

I know nothing about this but you could try putting it in a jar and burping it like you would weed to get the chlorophyll and other unwanted sour,. If that doesn’t work use maybe say like an orange peel inside the jar to slightly moisten it and burp it a few times daily then take the orange peel out if it’s gotten to wet or taking to long continue to burp,. This is a shot in the woods answer tho good luck!!

From my understanding Nymphaea Caerulea is a blue lily while Nelumbo Nucifera is a lotus but not blue. Please correct me if I am wrong, I will assume you are asking about Nymphaea Caerulea. I've used both with mild to moderate effects.

What is smoked tea supposed to taste like? Burnt?

Dried Nymphaea Caerulea petals taste a little sweet and a little paper like to me, but is a very very smooth smoke (I find it smoother then tobacco). Stamens are supposedly more potent but not as nice a smoke in my opinion, taste is a little wood like. Where did you get your material from? How old is it? Do you know for sure what plant it is?

If you're looking for a noticable effect from Nymphaea Caerulea alone I dont know if you'll get much without smoking an excessive amount. Soak in alcohol, strain, evap/reduce and you will feel her loud and clear.
