Smoking yellow goo: pipe residue question.

Well SWIM is a happy girl! She was able to extract a good deal of spice from some A Acumin using Lex Tek v.1.

So the white crystals were very good! Great intense geometric visuals, neons and deep experiences in space. Lucky her!

Now, on to the goo. it is rather a more chemical taste I'm told, and as SWIM and SWIM's pal are using a pathetic small bulb "glass snorting pipe" from Off Ya Tree, they are seeing a lot of the goo migrate up the thin pipe, ruining the vape experience. Obviously SWIM needs to upgrade her kit.

The question is, should more spice be smoked over the top of the remains of the goo? It's VERY viscous, and smelly, and thick. SWIM can't imagine how to clean it out of the glass pipe...but should she try? The smell of the goo is really really pungent. Not the lovely interesting faintly chem spice smell. Seems most like an oily residue.

Any thoughts would be most welcome.

im not sure I would like the chemical taste, maybe there is something trapped inside your goo that shouldn't be there, it might be worth re-xing it to make sure its safe to vape.

I would clean that pipe before vaping anything else in it, IPA or vinegar will clean a glass pipe well. I would look into infusing into herb/leaf in the future and smoking in a 30cm glass bong, its a hassle free method, especially for goo.

3rdI, you are so right. SWIM has not enjoyed the gooiness and chem smell/taste of the goo. So taking your advice. The bong is used as per, right? With water? Thinking to layer with dried mint on a small bed of rolled copper threads.

Looking for the full breakthrough now...having had lots of great chrysanthemums and visuals (pixelisation and other life behind objects, neon etc which is all lovely), but aiming for a big jump.

if your goo doesn't smell good and or tastes bad/isn't psychoactive then probably it's just some impurity, as 3rdI suggested you can purify it by re-x and if there's residue in the pipe you can use alcohol of any type if you don't have IPA laying around.

Ugh the only thing that dissolved it was boiling water, and that took some time. Yes it is psychoactive. Just a prob that the tiny pipe didn't allow enough to get through before one wanted to sit back and let the spirit in.
