So.. Why do we have a facebook page?

I won't even explain why this is such a horribly bad idea, as I know the vast majority of everyone here can already understand why it needs to be taken down.

For those of you who do not have a, Facebook page, it is a link leading to a public (compared to private), "group" who's 15 person fan base shows open support toward this website.

There was a video, the content of which was merely a talk on DMT, but it had a banner on the bottom of the video throughout the whole thing that said "DMT Nexus: Extract Your Own www.dmt-nexus.me" it turned out that the video had been posted by a Nexian and upon discussion, it was removed without incident.
 
Facebook? I think whoever did this did not think about the possible implications of this.

Well all we can do now is report it and not be a part of it. That is sad that people have to vocalise such a sacred place on a social network site.

But, its not the end of the world people, it has what, 17 members? This is next to nothing and should be taken with a pinch of salt, not that there is much else to do...

I do find it funny when we grass ourselves up! I bet the guys involved will just take it down if asked, probs no need to report... they are Nexus fans, after all! :lol:
 
Seriously, I hope they disband it as quickly as possible. It is best for all concerned that our ideas and activities remain under the radar as much as possible.

Besides, those who earnestly seek shall find anyway. I really don't know what these people were thinking.....
 
I dont know what to do about the facebook page, but maybe contacting them will work.

Im worried about the google aspect.

Why dont we try to get slapped by google so they take the nexus off there database? im not sure how you get slapped by google, but ive read articles about it.

that would eb a bigger step in my opinion....

I don´t see any endangerment of the community whatsoever. If they would want to get You, they´ll get You anyway. Possession of DMT is illegal, not attending some social server. They don´t have the whole day for catching some cybervillains, You know. And that´s actually an interesting idea to think about. Do the anti-drug police department it´s own cyber section? I think that´s a paranoid idea. Know Your enemy. Time to read Sun-tzu´s Art of war, definitely. :lol: Peace among the nexusians.

And I choose willingly to keep us findable by Google and other search engines, how else can we spread the information about DMT and other entheogens if people can't find us?

DMT and other psychadelic related boards have been around without trouble for 7+ years. Usually internal strife and petty debates do far more damage than perceived threats from authority figures.

It's most certainly ridiculous, as has already been stated multiple times, the issue is not that it puts anything on google, we just don't want people advertising the nexus on sites like facebook and youtube.

It looks like they will be taking it down, here is the most recent update to the page:
