some help planning please?

After getting my mimosa through the post the other day I'm about to attempt my first extracion.. The first problem I had was that I couldn't get my bark in to powder so I mashed it up the best I could and put it in some vinegar to soak for three days to help break down the bark.. The materials I have to work with are.
Vinegar
Lye
Xylene
Citrus acid
And some naphtha that has been used on a lsa extraction, so I'm not sure if this can be used.
Can anyone suggest a tek I could use with these chems? is it possible?
