Some of My Lophophora williamsii

Always nice to see some baby Lophs sprout - good for you.

I usually sow a tray of Lophs at Christmas, under lights with bottom heat - using up that years left over seed, start anew in March. And it is always good to see new life spring up in those short dark, days. Those sprouts will then have a head start on those sown in the spring.

Wow, that was sth of a botanical breakthrough-like experience, it changed my world.

Apparently our water here is ph 8,2. Desert cactii need around 6.

anyone know what happpned to Ann? She got really quite, even her blog is closed.
I hope she's ok! Maybe she finally retired, but I doubt that ;)

Is that Anne Halonium?? Used to be on Mycotopia - as did I at one time.
