Some psychedelic trance I am currently working on!

Have made no music the past 15 months. Been very focussed on growing plants this past while but finally started a new psy tune while was on a ski holiday in Canada.. I was able to use the sound of the crisp, dry snow to make the snare and hihats and some other sound effects. See if you can hear the resemblance.. snow makes for a punchy snare! .. The track starts in 5/4 at 127 bpm and then the last section emerges into 4/4 booming dugga dugga and speeds up to 135bpm.

Really enjoying working on this one.. for now I am just sketching the rough ideas and will go back and get into the finer details when its done.

Thanks @Nydex! Feels great to be making sounds again after a long hiatus.

How does the mix sound on your end? I had a lot of changes I had to make once I heard it on my monitors. I composed most of it on headphones while I was away and the bass was way out. But after being back on monitors I think its a much more balanced than before. I don't like mixing on headphones.. especially with bass. It doesn't hurt enough when its too loud, whereas it feels wrong on speakers when its over.
