some questions regarding SWIMs extraction

SWIM had completed mixing the water with the sodium hydroxide and bark. it sat for an hour or two and in the meantime SWIM evaporated some of his naphta just to make sure there was no residue. but SWIM just saw residue which looked like sugar.

awww crap! and its in the middle of the night.. dammit :)

does it matter if the bark solution sits around for a while? or must SWIM do the washes right away? SWIM hopes he hasn't fucked up his 1st try.. but just in case its only 50g of bark so not much harm done.

SWIM still has some xylol also which he wanted to use for aquiring the jungle spice after the naphta pulls. could SWIM just pull out everything at once with xylol and still be getting a clean product in the end?

SWIM uses normans tek and would like to know if the xylol can be treated the same as the naphta in the tek. (same pull times, same waiting periods, same amount?) how many pulls must SWIM do with xylol? same as with naphta?

can SWIM filter the xylol thru a coffee filter like the naphta or must he wait for it to evaporate? will SWIM be able to aquire a dry product or will it be all oily and stuff? although SWIM has heard that xylol delivers a relatively dry, yellow waxy product.

You can wait - in my friend's experience you won't lose much, it'll just be dirtier.
If you use xylene, it'll be gooey due to pulling from an STB but you'll be able to wash the spice out with naptha once you get some.
Xylene won't freeze precip so you're stuck with evaporation.

SWIMs naphta has 30% naphta and 5% tensides(whatever those are SWIM doesn't know).. SWIM guesses the rest % will be water. will the tensides end up in SWIMs extracted spice or the jungle spice SWIM will pull after the naphta pulls with xylol? will SWIM be able to wash away the impurities his naphta brings him with ammonia later on?

is the VM&P naphta 100% pure naphta or does it have water added to it like SWIMs stuff has?
