Sorry. Pull step question

I'm so sorry. This must be a really stupid question as I can't find anywhere that this question has been asked or answered. Either that or I am even more stupid than I thought and can't see the answer right in front of me.

Anyway...

I'm looking to follow Q21's trek shortly and have read the steps over and over. When I get to the pull step, I'm perplexed. The solvent must be kept separate from the bark but you have to mix the bark in the solvent to pull the DMT??

So do I just swirl the bark mixture around in the solvent? Do I mix the solvent in with the bark mixture?

Again, I apologise for this question. I understand I should be getting this. I just don't want to get it wrong.

just think about mixing oil and water, they mix upon shaking but then separate in two layers one being the water and one being the oil.

If you're worried about contaminents, then filter the liquid containing the bark before you pull.

You were simply reading the sentence wrong. It was not telling you to keep them separate. It said it should stay separate, as in they wont mix together.

This is a drytek so if it is done properly it won't mix. Unless you have the bark mixture to wet but they should still stay separate.
