Speed up vaporisation

SWIM made a extraction with Heptane ( the solvent didnt change color), in order to get à quicker result he placed the bowl with solvent in a hot water bath. As the vaporisation was finished he couldnt find any xstals. Was the vaporisation to quick so all Dmt left with the wapor or was there just no Dmt?

If you describe briefly and sequentially with chems/volumes/times/# of pulls involved we can pin it down.
A small point on terminology which will make your future posts clearer - generally, here folks use "vaporize" to refer to "smoking" spice, and "evaporate" to refer to solvents.
Heptane is a great non-polar solvent, naphtha is good too and slightly broader spectrum (will pull a broader range of alkaloids)... In SWiM's experience freeze precipitation works stunningly with both - slap that next pull in the freezer for 12+ hrs and if the Deemster is present, crystals will crash out, so to speak!

Hot water bath wont be hot enough to vaporize dmt, it just evaporated the solvent. Where you left with a little bit of oil or with nothing at all? If its oil, there is your dmt. Redissolve in small amount of warm solvent and freeze precipitate. If you were left with nothing, it wasnt there in the first place so either its bad bark, or pull wasnt thorough enough, or mimosa soup pH wasnt high enough
