Spice help. 1st time Xtract & 1/2way through!

Hello Everyone! This is my first post here on nexus but I've been browsing posts here for over a year now. So, Basically I wanted to ask a quick question in regards to SWIM's First Spice extraction:

Okay, according to step 6 - the Defatting process; SWIM has successfully managed to get to this point and has waited close to the 48hour mark of naptha solvent risen and bubbles etc settling. ready to pull the solvent BUT:

There seems to be some kind of emulsion or particulate type of matter settling on the bottom of the mason jar as well. The Tek does not say anything about this so SWIM was wondering what to do before moving to next step?

Any help will truly be grateful! THANKS

P.S. when link was viewed from Erowid I've noticed that they have pics. SWIM has used a pdf version w/o pics. The pic for step 6 seems to show exactly what SWIM has encountered. it is just never noted in text

i think ive had this many times, just pull everything but the garbage stuff. a photo would b nice tho

hmm..Tannin actually sounds pretty plausible. just did a quick search on it. So i'm assuming if that's the case it can stay in with spice juice when moving to next step?
