stb, naptha and then xylene pulls/high yield?

swim did a stb on 200g pre-powdered bark. 200g lye.

did 3 75ml naptha pulls...got 850mg white
then did 2 75ml xylene pulls...evaporated...got 2.6g of yellow crystals. almost all shiny. is this normal? no heat on any of the pulls...bark juice and solvents all room temp.

That's about a 1.7% yield. It's a good yield, very good for shiny yellow crystals, when I use xylene the result is wax, but yes 1.7% yield is within the normal range.

swim let the naptha pulls crash out in freezer over night...took out around noon...dried weighed the white, felt that was good and went with the xylene...so almost 24 hours.
