STB Tek - Yellow sludge.

Heh I'm around the same steps you are.. (Yellow/Orange tornado in fluid)
Ive noticed if I evap 80% of that fluid down, the consistancy starts shifting into small Jelly lumps that crystallize when put in the freezer...
and the clear Yellowish pulls yield spice...

Yellow goo? You mean the Yellow product in the clay dish??
That's not Goo, it's crystals. Fine particles and some bigger chunks too.
I wasn't going to bother re-x'ing it because it looked OK.
The first test was with yellow dmt and it certainly felt amazing (I only experienced a millionth of the trip but it felt good!)

So I decided to re-x them both.
I got some swan extra refined lighter fluid (50ml) nice and hot and then mixed it in with both the yellow and white crystal product. The fluid turned a cloudy pale yellow colour. However I noticed a lot of the product wasn't actually dissolving. The fluid was definitley hot enough. I even tried to reheat it in the water bath to get it to dissolve more. No luck.
I left it awhile stirring occasionally to get as much dmt out of the product as possible. Then I let it settle one last time and separated fluid from product.
Put the jar with fluid in freezer also surrounded it with couple bags of ice.
Jars been in the freezer for about 16 hours now and there's no crystals. Just sediment on the bottom of the jar.
When it was solid it smelt like dmt should (flowers/new shoes)
So surely there is dmt in there? It just never wants to freeze precip. Maybe my freezer isn't getting cold enough.. I'm confident it can freeze ice cream solid though.

After doing some reading I found that it is most probably that the swan fluid isn't saturated enough with DMT for it to freeze precip.
I've evap'd half the fluid so there's about 25ml in there now and I've popped it back in the freezer. Whilst it was evap'ing a thin layer of fatty sediment was settling to the bottom of the jar. Will check it tomorrow morning.

When you say sniff... do you mean insufflation/Intranasal route of administration? Or it burns when you smell it?
Part of the point of re-xing is to dissolve the dmt in the warm(not super hot - don't want to vape your dmt out of it) solvent and then let it start coming to room temperature. This will produce a fine layer on the bottom of orange/yellow gooeyness. You want to then decant the clean solvent off of that into another container to evaporate. You can let the orange/yellow layer of stuff dry out as well and smoke it but it may/may not be as strong as what you evap/precipitate out of the solvent that was decanted off of it.
It usually contains more of the plant material with some dmt as well.

I mean it burns my nose when I sniff it. Not insufflation.
I just smelt my caustic soda and it isn't the same smell and doesn't burn my nose.
I think.. it's because it's really powdery and if I shake it in the glass, visible clouds of .. err.. dmt dust? appear. So, I think it's because it's so fine, that it hurts my nose.
How do I know if it's safe to vaporise lol? I don't remember pulling any lye solution, and if I did it was a very very minuscule amount. My new batch (After re-x'ing which didn't work so I evap'd again) smells like dmt, and so does the old batch which I redissolved (But most of it did not dissolve into the solution, it just sat at the bottom of the jar. The fluid turned yellow and cloudy though)
This is all due to me doing STB tek and messing up. I've still got 50g of MHRB left which I'm going to use with CYB's salt tek.

If you have made it to this point and have been careful not to suck up anything besides the solvent then you should be good to vaporize. If you are siphoning off only the solvent layer then you shouldn't have any lye in your final product. The stuff that doesn't dissolve in your solvent on the re-x is probably a little bit of dmt and some plant oils/etc.
You Sometimes you have to stir it vigorously to get as much as possible to dissolve in warm solvent. Then let it seperate again and pour that solvent off of the layer that falls to the bottom into a different container. Evap both or evap the stuff from the bottom and freeze the other. Both products can be smoked. Just start with a low dose and test the stuff out to check potency.

most of that looks like dmt to me. The stuff that was left at the bottom after the re-x may be slightly less potent but that will be up to you to decide.

OK! so!
The re-x'd/evap'd stuff was dmt. Not very potent at all but it gave me the come up similar to the first time I tried it. I felt like I was coming up on shrooms. Hands looked kinda alien to me, and I just felt really warm and vibrating. But it vanished after that. I got a tiny vision of the chrysanthemum I think. I closed my eyes to see if anything was happening there, which for the most part - nothing. But right in the dead centre of my vision, I saw a pulsing flower shape. Similar to a... rhododendron. Closed. Not open flower. It was so small though I don't even know if it was placebo. But it would have been a good placebo to come up with that shape lol. I must be creative
