I have seen a lot of controversy over this topic and I was wondering if it is possible to use a STB tek such as Noman's tek on acacia confusa? I know that it seems most people recommend an A/B, but I am unable to boil a pot of acid in my kitchen. The only way I would be able to do an extraction is using STB, this was not an issue when I could easily acquire MHRB. Thanks for any help!

Its very variable. Ive seen tek's and photos of yields of folks who have done STB wit acacia and gotten excellent results. There was one thread on the shroomery where a guy got excellent yields from a totally simple STB.
If its all you can do, give it a shot. If not, adapt some way and do a A/b. You dont really need to boil your mixture directly. Just warming would be ok. Water/vinegar boiled would be ideal if you can do it and then pour that into your powdered/shredded bark and carry out a tek from there.

I've done a few STB ACRB extractions lately and I won't be doing it again, primarily because of the long time it takes to let the bark sit. It works better if your bark is powdered but can still take a few weeks to do enough pulls to get all of the material, my yields haven't been great either. Next time I will be doing A/B, since 3x 1hr boils + 6 pulls could be done in a single day.

Let me tell you. In my experience. ACRB can be extracted for its DMT in as little as 6 hours.
I have repeatedly been able to run a basic STB on ACRB and resulted in at least 1.5g-2g yields. When i say basic, i mean basic. 1500mL filtered water + 100g ACRB powder + 100g lye mixed within 8 mins. The jar gets warm. Set jar in a hot water bath set at 160F for 30 mins. Then do FOUR 150mL naphtha pulls over the next hour. All while keeping the jar warm to the touch. This will ensure that the Naphtha warms in the solution allowing for maximum DMT absorption.
At this point you can Freeze precipitate or just do what i ALWAYS do and just evaporate the dish in front of a fan. Preferably on a cold night.
No freeze/thaw steps, no acid boil, no bark filtering, very little waiting. I can easilly pull 2.2g in one set of pulls on MHRB with this method as well. (100g MHRB)

the only time ive gotten goo from ACRB was after i extracted 1.5-1.9g. THen everything after that was always goo. But other than that, it would look like goo, but once scraped and played with for a few mins, it hardens to a nice firm/hard wax.

just remember, after you evap/remove the NPS from the dish that the DMT will look clear and goo/gel like probably. With some specks here and there of crystal maybe. But once you scrape it all up, it will begin changing consistency. I like to scrape, then smear it back out as thing as possible then let it sit for 10 mins. then when you scrape it a final time it should be nice and firm. no goo/gel. with ACRB, you will get a darker color close to honey which will contain a lot of other alkaloids other than DMT and NMT. If you dont wash the product then what you end up with is "jim jam". good stuff. ACRB jimjam seems to have its own MAOI like lingering effect to it.
