swims done a/b 2 times and with out ph strips.. results were good -- tan waxy but not that white spice. Today swim started off something simialer to nomans tek. 250 mhrb was placed in a 1 gallon container and the other 200 was placed in another gallon container each was filled with 3000ml of water and roughly 300gs of lye was added-- i know it was a little excessive--- after all was shaken more water was added to get up to the neck of the gallon jug...now its a litlle bubbly and is still kinda thick... were/ are these containers to small ?

He's right ... you're all over the place. I don't think that's enough water for 450 g of powdered bark... if I'm understanding correctly that is

if your doing a big extraction, you should get a 4000ml erhlenmeyer flask (at the minimum). I'm just telling you right now it's about the same amount of work just doing smaller batches.. like 150g - 250g at a time. I find when I do my big extracts I have to keep going back and multitasking because there's just sooo much to deal with.

yea smaller vessels would have been better.. im on a time crunch , the ms's wasnt too happy the kitchen was going to not smell as usual soo i wanted to get it all done and not have a bunch of vessels to agitate.... every thing worked out though ... its snowing
