sticking to bottle

I changed containers from a plastic bag (which lots of spice stuck to, but I managed to get some unstuck) to a bottle. It keeps sticking to the bottle and I wonder if there is an efficient way to get it out of the bottle and into the bowl when it is time. Any methods of making spice less sticky?

The q21q21 tek suggests a vinegar solution, which I think very wise. If you lost a substantial amount of crystals in a container and are unable to retreive them with a razor, you can always redisolve using warm naptha or IPA and recrystalize in an easier container. Best of luck.

For the sticky crystals, if you leave them under a fan (I prefer a shelf close to a ceiling fan) for a bit they will eventually dry up. I use a evaporation dish or a pyrex pan like what's shown in the changa guide in my signature.

Once they are dry, as cyantific said, glass vials are the way to go although I use the little plastic bead jars that's in the last picture of the changa guide and they work pretty well once it's dry enough. With the wide opening on the jars, it allows me to use a teaspoon to get the doses out without any trouble.

Good luck :)

What is IPA? The spice also sticks to metal objects, so what does that say about it's extraction?
