Hi guys!
I pretty new around here, I've done a hand full of extraction and with the help of all you guys I'm really starting to get the hang of if.

My previous extraction have left me with low yield which has led me to believe I had bad bark. I have recently got some new ACRB which i believe to be of superior quality and was excited for my latest extraction. As usual I used earthwalkers tek. When i took my baking tray out of the freezer I noticed some stringy bits in my spice that i have not seen before? Just wonding if it is normal and if is safe to smoke? I'm hoping its not a sign of contamination.

I should also add that i done my first pulls on the base soup using pre-used yellow naptha. Clean naptha was used in the mini a/b clean up stage.

it is probably plant material (fats) that many consider to be typical of the method and materials you used. Nothing alarming there and since you already said you're doing a cleaning step then you're fine in all cases, IMO.

When I was experimenting with heated extractions vs room temp extractions I had some precipitation come out like that. I also had some product that looked much like the pics from endlessness's ethanol extraction.

Could this be a factor?
