Sublingual harmala dosage for vaporhuasca breakthrough?

I use alkaloids extracted directly from vine, but I also extracted caapi leaves (never used leaves extract for psilohuasca).
Freebase from leaves has slight adstringent taste, which is not present in caapi vine extract.

Various mushrooms differ in clarity of experience, body load, propensity for CEV and other characteristics, which are quite difficult to describe. It is slighly similar to differences betwen various strains of cannabis.
There is something in cubensis, which could be called 'murkiness' and which I do not like, they also produce more unpleasant body load than other shrooms and also produce less CEV. Imo Cubensis are something like cheap box wine in the world of magic mushrooms.
Ok, thanks.
Swim would be interested to do some microsopy of the spores of those strains. So far he had done some quite nice photos from cubensis spores only.

I can report that 30mg freebase harmalas from rue sublingual (no extra vinegar or lemon) worked well for me.
There is quite some saliva build-up. I tried to keep it as much as possible, not swallowing to much. I think everything dissolved well.
I swallowed then after 15 min. and tested a quite thin ejuice (almost 1:9), starting after 30min (15 min after swallowing).
I could slowly build up the level over several tokes.

A question to those familiar with this approach: can one just continue to slowly build up or does a breakthrough require a stronger first toke (e.g. from crystal vaping) and the ejuice helps then only to stay up?

Do you live in a dry climate? I live in a humid climate, and stored harmala freebase some days ago in a ziploc bag with no desiccant and it was starting to form some "harmala red", which I assume is not active.
No. Ziploc is a bad solution, I use seal glass jars only, same as I use for DMT, ziploc bag is not seal.

Yes, it allows you to build up.

I am quite surprised by the debate about sublingual absorption of freebase, my experience is that it absorbs very quickly and starts to work in minutes.
Absolutely. And it works on very small doses, only Varollo seems to have some problems with that. It works great for me and other people.

我在中国,我无法找得到dmt,我该怎么办?
Grow your own plants containing DMT and extract it, or you can identify plants in the wild and extract them, a few of them grow in China. Just do thorough research. There is all the necessary information on the forum.
And don't type in Chinese here. The forum is in English, and not everyone knows Chinese!

No not really, I think it’s debatable that freebase works better than salt forms, I don’t think that freebase is not working and salts are, they both work for me too. Read the paper, it’s quite interesting.

Certainly both the salt and the freebase harmala are absorbed through mucosa, what is debatable is which one absorbs faster as sublingual, or even if there are specific salts that lead to better absorption.

I think it also depends on what comes out of extraction tek, if it's freebase then why do conversion and risk losing some? Plus, if you mix a salt of D with freebase H in a solution some H will turn to salt from excess acid.

Have you ever heard of super sensitive people? A friend took 40mg extract sublingual and after 45min. he was in vertigo hell for 5 hours. I would not believe this if i did not know him well.
My first thought was a x10 mistake on the scale, but he says 'no'.

Yes, my girlfriend is very sensitive to both harmalas and DMT. 200mg harmalas (oral, not sublingual) plus 1.5g mimosa send her out of her body.

I have observed that the presence of DMT allows the vertigo to manifest as flying and similar experiences instead of just vertigo.

I know it can depend from one person to another, but if I take 20–30 mg of harmalas sublingually, how long would the effects typically last?
In order to have a typical ayahuasca session, should I redose harmalas at some point?

In my case, sublingually it seems to last about 3 hours. But I'm not completely sure.

With a typical ayahuasca session, you mean with oral DMT? If so, sublingual harmalas won't work, as the sublingual ROA doesn't inhibit the gut MAO.

Ok, thanks, so redosing wouldn't be necessary in this case.

Sorry, my question wasn’t clear enough. I meant “a typical ayahuasca session’s length.” And yes, it makes sense that sublingual harmalas would only work for changa or vaping (which, in this case is actually the ROA I’m interested in).

Something else you may want to experiment with is adding some rue seeds to your dmt vape juice and letting it steep for a few days. Remove seeds before adding the juice to your cart.
Early days for me experimenting with this method and at this stage I don't know the longevity of such a mix. But it definitely makes quite a difference... stronger, longer and cleaner experience for me 🙂✨🌈
