Suggestions requested for next step of poor extract

I started with about 500g acrb. Hydrated the powdered root bark with boiling vinegar and water, and left covered for one hour. the consistency of the mixture was about like field capacity for mushroom substrates.
I then added about 500g gardening lime. After realizing my failure, i added a full bag of mrs. wages pickling lime. pulled with a pint of xylene, and salted with vinegar. product was about a half gram of amberish/purpleish resin.

Where should I go from here?

I was thinking about dissolving the goo in water, basifying with sodium carbonate, pulling again with naptha, and freeze precipitating. perhaps adding some water and lye into my current rootbark mixture, and attempting more pulls
