Super Simple Extraction technique. Will this work ok?

FIRST OF ALL:
this is my PLANNED technique. I have yet to perform an extraction but From what I have read and my own understanding of chemistry I believe this should work.

DO NOT COUNT ON THIS TECHNIQUE WORKING! I am simply asking for advice on how I could improve it. Cheers, UnholyJim


Project Dragon monkey taint

1) Boil 300ml water
2) Allow water to cool, and then pour into glass jar. Add Sodium Hydroxide until
the solution becomes clear. (up to 50 g)
3) Add root bark, screw on lid and leave for 24 hours at room temperature
4) Add naptha (150 ml), replace lid and shake.
5) Leave in a warm dark place for a further 24 hours, shaking regularly.
6) Collect the layer of naptha using a pipette, placing it into another jar.
7) Allow to settle overnight.
(Any brown liquid should then be removed by pipette and disposed of)
8 ) Freeze the remaining liquid for 24 hours
9) Remove the jar from the freezer and allow to stand for 30 minutes
10) Filter the remaining liquid, the crystals should be left on the filter paper.
11) Allow the crystals to dry over a further 24 hour period.
12) Enjoy!

Can anyone advise me of any extra tricks or steps I may have missed?
(Note that I am aware of the safety precautions necessary with caustic soda and naptha)

Why not just use a tried and tested tek? Yours just seems like a poor version of STB.

The teks in the wiki are there for a reason, they work.

The problem is that I move about a lot during my week so I have got to do certain stages at certain times, if that makes sense.

I understand peoples circumstances are different so I guess you have to do what works for you.

Personally I use the salt tek that cyb posted, its quick and easy and gets cracking yields.

Good luck with what ever tek you go with.

2) don't mix hot water and NaOH
3) would be better to shake it a bit
4) room temp naphta will dissolve much less DMT than warm naphta
5) 24h is too much, you want a minimal amount of plant oils
9) why freeze it if you're going to let it warm up afterwards? freeze it, remove naphta quickly, and let the remaining naphta on the crystals evaporate
More pulls would be better too.
