Support for Pandora: Cat tales and hyperspace stories through Patreon

Hey wonderful community,

I hope this message finds you all well. Today, I have some exciting news to share with you all. Our beloved community member, @Pandora (@Old & Jaded for now), has officially launched a Patreon page! For those who might not know, Pandora has been the creative force behind some of the most enchanting "Cat tales" and exhilarating "Hyperspace adventures" we've all come to cherish.

However, there's more to this story. Right now, due to the passing away of her long time partner @Nemo Amicus, @Pandora is navigating through some challenging times and is in high need of our support. Despite these difficulties, her dedication to crafting these delightful stories remains unwavering. This is where we, as a community, can step in and make a meaningful difference.

By becoming a Patreon supporter, you'll not only help @Pandora continue creating the magical "Cat tales" and thrilling "Hyperspace" narratives that brighten our days, but you'll also be providing much-needed support during a critical time. Your contributions can help ease some of the burdens she is facing and ensure that these wonderful stories keep coming.

Joining the Patreon page means you'll get exclusive access to new tales, maybe some behind-the-scenes content, and perhaps even some special surprises along the way. More importantly, you'll be part of a supportive community rallying around a talented storyteller who needs us now more than ever!

Thank you for your generosity and for being such an incredible part of this communities journey. Let's come together and show @Pandora just how much her stories mean to us!

Here is the link to her Patreon page, please add your support (you can even start by just following that account):

p.s. Normally, we do not allow promoting personal crowdfunding pages on our platform, but this is a special case were we're making an exception for @Pandora! <3

Probably involved with the council of interstellar navigators.

I'm surviving on the money I make from my business. It's tight budgeting but it's survival. Some months are good and produce some excess and other months are grim.

I am hopeful things will improve. So I would like to shut down the Patreon somehow. Maybe request that folks funnel their donation amounts to the Nexus.

That's great to hear!

Though make sure you have some savings, to have some financial fat for the lesser days.

Also, you might want to make a nice 'survival' package: stock water, non-perishable food, medicine and a reliable heat source, for when there are power-outages etc, all to make sure you have a neat buffer when needed.

Kind regards,

The Traveler

Why do you feel the need to shut it down?
What if you allowed the universe to continue to send it's love to you through the people who donate?

Do you think abundance is not coming to your business because people are sending you support through Patreon?

What if instead of shutting it down, you sent a message of gratitude and release via Patreon saying you are no longer in dire need and anyone who would be served by cancelling their subscription is encouraged to do so?
Wouldn't that serve the same purpose as forcing an end, while also allowing those with the means and/or desire to send you love and aid through a recurring digital energy transfer?

Sadly things did not go well this past weekend. I am in deep trouble currently. I guess I should not have said everything was okay. Things are on the edge and if you are able to contribute it would be tremendously appreciated. It is very hard doing the impossible - trying to support a minimal family (brother and cats - bro contributes a bit but it's not really significant at this point) in a very expensive location.

Without getting into other details the heart of the matter is: No one would hire me after my husband died and you do not understand how hard I tried, including during the interviews. Always happy to be the first one there and the last one there, work weekends, evenings and holidays, . . . . but nope. So now I am trying to make this small business work but I am being slammed by predatory taxes (close to 50%). I'm up against a wall right now that reads, "Pay the Tax Man or Pay Your Rent but You Cannot Pay Both."

I have bookings, even through July, but they are NOT full days. I am continuing to work on advertising. I am hopeful as Spring and Summer approach that things will change but right now . . . .
