SWIM got some Salvia extract- how to purify it?

what do you mean it did not dry out?? Is it still sitting in a jar in solution or something?
first off if you havent done it yet, filter out the leaves..leaving just the isopropyl..
It would really help if you knew exactly how much you extracted from..so you could make enhanced leaf andknow the ratios..but if you dont at least you know it was either 10 or 20 grams..
I would say evap it down onto 5 grams or 2 grams(whatever you like) of crushed plainsalvia leaf preferabily, or some other leaf base if you dont have any more salvia..
If you use 5 grams as a base..and you extracted from 10 grams that would give you 2x..if you extracted from 20 grams than you have 4x etc..
use 2 grams as a base at 10 grams extracted and you have 5x..if you did 20 grams extractionthan you have 10x etc..
I would not recomend that you just try to purify salvinorin and smoke it...unless you are some kind of super salvia wizard:wink: ...this stuff is an ordeal..
I extracted some salvinorin a while ago did not enhance leaf with it..but I did it more for fun and didnt even purify it completely(it's still green)..and still am paranoid to touch the stuff..my 3x(or even just leaf) is strong enough thank you!

you sure it's not just oily?..I would redissolve it in some alcohol and make enhanced leaf..maybe get a fan or something to help the enhanced leaf dry if you are worried about it..
naptha defat..but you dont need to..I dont anyway when I make my enhanced leaf..
first off..if you used iso..it will all evaporate..I use 99% iso..lower percentage just means more water so it takes longer to evaporate..but there is plant fats and oils etc in the leaves as well that get pulled..so you're extract will seem oily once it's fully evaporated..
All you need to do is this..
Pour some iso over the extract and stir it around with something until it all dissolves in the alcohol..it may take an hour to or to dissolve so leve it for a bit and then stir it all up..just to it until its all dissolved..some gunk or whatever may not dissolve but thats ok..
pour out the iso into another evaporation dish making sure to leave behind whatevr didnt dissolve(not necessary just makes your extract a bit cleaner)..evaporate it down to whatever ammount you want to use for your enhanced leaf..put the leaf in and stir it around every so often while it is evaporating to get a well rounded consistancy..
