Swim just got a 1.2 gram pull in 5 hours

From 200g Hostilis.

Beat that :p

Just used straight to base. 300g lye in a BIG saucepan of water. Let it cool for 5 mins. Added the corse-powdered hostilis & boiling Swan lighter gas. Stirred for half an hour. Removed top layer. Fan dried for 5 hours.

& 1.2 grams of pale yellow powder :)

probably didnt let it dry for quite long enough, but meh. looks good enough for me!

Not bad for an evenings work :D

A few notes:

The crystals had been dried to fast I think. Most of them where splattered against the tray. Not good for presentation, but a nice smoke all the same.

Also, was only using lighter gas because i'd run out of Naptha. But it seems to have its advantages. Evaporates MUCH quicker, I couldnt believe it after an hour of drying already seeing a nice bunch of crystals.

Another thing - the crystals seem to turn out much more pale with lighter gas. It didnt leave much of a layer & I honestly think, unless your a health phanatic it dosnt make much difference.

It still appeared mildly damp when i began to scrape the (splattered) crystals off. I was only doing a tiny bit out of impatience, but soon realised it was crumbling like bread - despite the dampness.

Have let the crystals out on a tray to dry off completely. Cant imagine thers much fluid left at all tbh, with the ease that they came off.

Fyi, 1.3g out of 200g isnt even 1%, so you might want to work on your tek or get some new mimosa. Or stop using napatha and go with a chlorinated solvent or an aromatic hydrocarbon. Xylene really isn't such a bitch everyone makes it out to be if you use proper ventilation and a heating pad under (I assume) your pyrex baking dish. Everybody talks about the formation of dmt-oxide from this, but I for one have never experienced this oxidation. You'll have to clean it up a bit though if you use one of those solvents, especially if it's Xylene. Xylene pulls out some yuk with it :evil:
