1:33pm Heated naphtha in the instpot on sous vide at 90°c
Pull 1 60ml naphtha added to media bottle mixed by flipping the bottle 3 times letting the layers separate and then mixing again a total of 3 rounds
After final separation using a pippet removed the naphtha into a glass gar that is placed in the fridge between pulls

3:46pm Pull 2 65ml naphtha - using the same method

3:50pm Pull 3 70ml naphtha - using same method
Note there are crystals already forming in the fridge
4:59pm Pull 4 50ml naphtha - using same method

Note the fresh naphtha being used for pulls is hot at 90°c
5:11pm Pull 5 50ml naphtha - using the same method
During this final pull, poured the top of the media bottle into 1000ml Narrow Erlenmeyer flask and toped it off with water to get the maximum amount of naphtha off the surface. Then placed the jar with the Pulled naphtha in the fridge

7:06pm Transferred the naphtha into a glassbaking dish. Then placed under a fan to reduce for 4 hours.

11pm SWIM placed the dish in the freezer.

6:03pm drained excess naphtha into coffee filter over a glass jar.
Let the crystals dry with a fan for a few hours before collecting
Total of 1.174g

I will try to post the finished picture in the comments since I ran out of space

Cheers :)

Hey, it’s great that you became a member, and congratulations on the report and the beautiful result you achieved.

That said, I’m linking an article here that I think is important for you to read. As you may have noticed, I removed a few of the photos you posted. I did that partly because you used the abbreviation “SWIM.” It’s an abbreviation that has never really helped anyone, and it’s not something we want to use on this forum.

Because it suggests that you may be concerned about possible legal implications, I think the article will be very relevant for you to read.

If it’s not an issue for you, you’re of course free to add the photos again by using the edit function. In any case, a warm welcome to the forum.
