Tea with Changa and Harmalas

To finalize my understanding..

I can make changa easily enough, but lets say I get some harmalas.

Do I just put changa in a cup with some hot water with some honey, and have another seperate cup with harmalas and some hot water and honey.
Drink hamalas, 20 mins later drink the changa tea.

Or do I have to extract stuff from harmalas aswel? (Like the process to make dmt)

If it's simple as Cup->Water+Changa and cup->water+harmalas I'll be stoked.

If I'm missing something just dont make me feel too stupid about it.
