Migrated topic.

Hey guys , first time posting here.

I have done couple of very successful extractions using cybs salt method.

I am planning for 200g mhrb project and i wanna extract it all preferably by not using four seperate bottles and etc and doing it in one go.

Any tips on teks which i can use? Any help will be appreciated.

I'm just going to throw out there my experience using STB for extraction that 50g extractions provided optimal yields vs larger extractions.
My results were as follows
50g - 1g
100g - 1.5g
150g - 2g
300g - 2.25g
400g - 2.5g

These were after 4 pulls Naptha, 1ml per gram each pull. This is just my experience, I'm sure the difference could be made up through additional pulls and backsalting to reclaim spice below the 'freeze precipate saturation point'.

Not trying to deter you or change your mind. I've played around with this a bit and the smaller 50g extractions always go the best.

I second this ^^

One love

I third it. I stick to 75g's MHRB. Nailed my little technique down and that seems to be the optimal amount as far as yield and quality. No need to rush thru it unless, well, there's a need to rush thru it for some reason, like Mom is coming home from vacation or something. (I meant your Mom, my Mom has been dead for years. I don't rush it.):p

It's about the surface area to volume ratios. Larger amounts screw up the extraction efficiency because volume scales as the cube (third power) and surface area only as the square (second power). Larger volumes are also more tricky to handle, increasing the likelihood of mishaps.

Keep it small.
