Goal is to reduce harmfull impuritys from the vapor while alowing a percentage of cleaner and more pure molecule vapor...

this test could also be done with pot... or anything that can be vaporized....

Well, i remember addressing the "pot" part of it by creating my « LavaWand » conceptual extension to the VaporGenie on September 1st, 2016... In other words over 8 years ago.

Oh i sure remember how that felt all right, but i noticed you've been prompt to reject everything on a basis of forged "reputation" alone. Yet, i ain't even actually posting for *YOU*, instead it's with the hope to cause an eventual audience with an open mind to reflect on similar matters.

1st, don't create a contamination problem only to wonder how to fix it: just drop smoking, which is how i came to later adopt the Pulse Heating strategy, because as i already commented before this will limit secondary & tertiary thermal denaturation. Next, my quasi-symetrical modular design makes it possible to chose between alternate scenarios, more exactly my unidirectional one in this present case. Consequently, having a bowl surrounded by such Hybrid Cores it becomes possible for both to behave in turn as a heat source, then a complementary filter that doubles as a "reclaims" collector. Initially it's better start with the gentle core so to maximize aroma/taste appreciation, then the LAVACapsule is eventually reversed in order to boost its heat source while also performing the reclaim of whatever got purified as it occurs, condensing within the post-vaporization working in particles "filter" mode... That way accumulation is continuously restricted by flipping sides before the golden honey builds up with too much contamination mixed in - which by doing so happens to conveniently skip any post-vaporization purification step(s).

But one can't do this using a Glass Sherlock design, not even a couple wood "tops": Pulse Heating needs to be brief and this requirement implies intense, not the slow/steady thermostatic style. Not to mention a yellow flame (e.g. incomplete "dirty" combustion) won't do anymore. That's why i went full-metal and posted my progress, patiently, expecting that some future hypothetical audience will finally feel ready to consider a challenge to replicate independantly.

Even water filtration will cost that sort of penalizing trade-off, which is why i promote dry cooling where fresh-air "PinHoles" à la VapMan combine with sudden volume expansion.

Other than that it seems like some dmt is condensing on the filter, like I said this could be the polymorph that stays longer like an liquid and only crystallizes to a more waxy consistency.

Anyway to really answer your questions in your other thread I think you need some sort of TLC even just on paper to get a clue on what you’re doing.

Hi ...varallo.. apoligise for the problems ive had latley with .....someone...
But the dmt i vaporized wasnt really cleaned up much..... as i thought it didnt need it...
The vape i used is very efficiant as it was set on 73 watts,,,

Im just trying to capture the fats and impuritys with the filter ...hopefully allowing for a more pure dmt experiance .

[this may not work the way i hope...but still giving it a try...

This is just a little test im doing...

Ah I understand, it would be interesting to see if a similar type of deposit is found when using very clean DMT, just to exclude an extra variable, also I can imagine that maybe the cleanness of the vape could be a factor that can be excluded. From there testing the residue in filter is the only way to know what is actually filtered out.

Besides the rigor, did you experience any difference, was the vapor smooth or less irritating than normal? How was the inhalation speed influenced and was this a positive change?

I havent inhaled the vapor yet ... but i expect it to be somewhat effective ...if enough dmt molecule gets through...

the vaporizer was very clean.. as i cleaned out the bowl and installed a new mesh screen and set watts from 70 to 73...

Im hoping for a... slightly cleaner gentler high ..if enough of the heavy residuel tar is trapped inside the filter....and staying out of my lungs...

The question is....how much of the dmt active is being traped in the filter in the tar?

I figure if i .....get enough traped residue.... i can later desolve it out of the filter in alcohol....by submerging the filter in grain alcohol.....then evaporate the alcohol untill gone leaving the residue to dry further for couple days.....

after the drying a couple days... there should be.... [circular paterns] ..crystals starting]..... appearing in the material that might give me an idea of how much dmt was trapped in the tar?
if there is no evedence of crystals!!.. this would be good! .. as this means that most of the lighter.... dmt molecules... stayed airborn.... and got pulled through without the impuritys!

I finally tryed a very low dose. through the filter.. and it was very light and near tastless...
It also gave me a nice borderline high that lasted about 30 minutes! ...and that was only from 3 drops of spice tincture...vaped after all the alcohol was evaporated out...[equaling only about 4 or 5 mgs]
I noticed the ...[much reduced volume of vapor]... ... was tasteless ...and i didnt have guilty feeling that i may have inhaled a bunch of impuritys ...anyway this was a low to micro dose... vapor was light and much cleaner...
It still had reasonable effect... even after going through the filter trap...
but...cant expect much from such a small dose...

now a total ...with first test... of 8 or 10mgs vaped through this one filter...and filter still has room for more

just dont know for shure how much molecule may?...be getting wasted?
