Hello,

Many of you know I have been having various difficulties since late December, 2009.

In recent discussions in Chat, during my whining, both panoramix and Jorkest suggested that I try Changa.

Well, I have now tried the Changa recipe (at 1/2 strength of spice) that Jorkest gave me.

I am still having difficulties. These difficulties are strictly me, all me. It has nothing to do with the spice at all. I have recently come to realize that I am resisting what can only be described as growth and it has been coming up with the spice.

Regarding CHANGA. Wow, this is THE WAY to go! What an awesome idea. Smoke just a tiny bit and you have instantly delivered a significnat dose. This compares very favorably to my freebasing attempts. Reloads are also ridiculously easy.

So thanks again Jorkest and panoramix. I really appreciate all the A+ guidance and advice.

Peace & Love,
Pandora

i've been working with a great new recipe that i've made for nighttime. it's 1/2 Caapi, 1/4 calea zacatechichi, 1/4 peppermint and 1:1 spice. i call it "chimichanga" and it is a really sweet way to drift off to sleep. if you've got the fixins, give it a shot.....you'll LOVE it!

Changa really IS the way. i don't even know the last time i actually smoked plain spice. changa is just SO much better in every way. VIVA LA CHANGA!!

L&G!!

is that caaapi leaf or the vine ?
surely the vine makes too much smoke to be smoked.

it's actually the very same vine you have my friend. i just ground it up really fine with my bad-ass grinder so it's damn-near powder. the calea and peppermint are ground up as well, but not as fine since they're already nice n' leafy. i've been dissolving my spice in acetone rather than IPA because it just evaps so fast and so clean.

go forth and changa my people!

L&G!!

I do have the fixins! Not too big a fan of peppermint though (don't throw rocks as me). Maybe blue lily. mmmmm...intracellular expansion.

Is acetone more intense smelling than IPA to you? I've never used acetone.

acetone is essetially nail polish remover. it's got a fairly strong odor....stronger than 99% IPA i would have to say. but it evaps SO DAMN FAST and SO DAMN QUICK and SO DAMN COMPLETELY that it has become my #1 choice for changa preparations.

"4 out of 5 psychonauts recommend ACETONE for their changa needs."

...i swear i heard this commercial playing on a radio in a spaceship somewhere.... ;)

i think acetone smells MUCH nicer than IPA...i always use acetone for making changa

the recipe ive been using is quite simple..but you can change any herb that you want...the best part about changa is that you make it what YOU want...like the recipe that Pandora used that i gave her...she was hesitant to put at much dmt in it as i do...so SHE made a change that made her more comfortable with the mixture...this is all about finding YOUR sweet spot

but my recipe that i enjoy is this

250mg peppermint, 200mg lavender, 300mg caapi vine(ground), 250mg weed or mullein, 100mg harmine, 1000mg jimjam

All Swim has tried so far is Enhanced mullein and he loves it. I think someone needs to put together a recipes book yes?

Changa ...Amen. Swim made last batch with IPA but will switch back to acetone , he prefers the smell in a weird way as well, though he tries not to whiff:d

Hello Again,

The precise recipe I used was:

250 mg peppermint
200 mg lavender
300 mg caapi vine
250 mg mullein
100 mg passionflower
500 mg freebase DMT

Used acetone as the solvent and did not experiment with Changa until it passed two distinct tests:

1.) The smell test involving four different people, one of them a 12 year old with a fantastic sense of smell. She knows I smoke medicinal cannabis and I asked her if she smelled any fingernail polish remover in my latest herbal smoking blend.

2.) This second one instilled me with tremendous confidence vis-a-vis the complete evaporation of acetone: Compared weight of total ingredients before preparation to weight of finished Changa product. Changa was 5 mg less. Accounting for scale innaccuracies and my klutzy-ness (probably lost a little leaf and powder) this makes good sense.

Peace & Love,
Pandora

Well I guess I'm just gonna have to get me some acetone!

IPA tends to bother my sensitive sinuses, with even a few minutes exposure.

Does acetone (99.85%) work for pulling freebase from pastes, just as well as anhydrous IPA?

Thanks for sharing the recipes!

yay yay yay, changa is the best way to smoke!!

Im glad people are getting to know changa/enhanced leaf.

Everyone, please make a batch of changa, I promise you wont be dissapointed.
