Pertaining to us, we all know my skepticism. But this is really beautiful nonetheless.
It sparks a reminder of a thought that I had after my first several DMT journeys: what if every human incarnation is an avatar that our deeper selves (removed from the being we incarnate) get to jump into and explore through that specific vantage.
To bring DMT into it, what if doing DMT gives us more than a taste of what it's like being in that other space that our character got to peak at?
Having had ruminations akin to some shared here, I really liked the one about maturing into "Gods." Definitely something that can give one a sense of purpose while having it neatly balanced by a degree of levity.
Saw this the other day and just thought it was adorable. Despite this theory remaining subjective and open to interpretation of the viewer I had also found a lot of similarities between the ruminations through this video and some of my earlier deep water journey's.
I also had the same thought about the DMT correlating to what our character in the video was getting a peak of
That and I believe it's a thought excersise in empathy. To see yourself in everyone else is a great way to stay mindful of your actions. Recognizing the oneness in our species rather than the separateness allows for a different perception that becomes centered in compassion.
I've always struggled to understand why it's necessary though. Why can't we embrace differentiation more? I personally don't necessitate sameness to guide my compassion.
One love
Note: I know why it's just something that saddens me.
I found this amazing when I first discovered this story years back after having experienced it before with a high dose experience.
I don't see this as a oneness but more exploration of multiple experiences. Personally I don't feel empathy easily so I don't go out of my way to be helpful with my actions. If I feel the urge to help I do but not in a oneness/compassion/understanding but usually boredom. Without ego we simply wouldn't exist in a sense that we comprehend so oneness isn't something I strive for personally.
The egg theory I see more as a sense of you should live your best life in each instance. Some lives choose to go down different paths and I understand it. The 'GOD mind' many tend to only associate good traits but I have always seen it in duality (without purpose) including the devil. Without evil we wouldn't have the 'good' to compare it would simply be an action.
To add to this egg theory I'd like to add another story I had in a high dose. I was observing God and the devil and they would both have a friendly rivalry like batman and joker. God started with all the souls of humans and was bored so agreed to 'play' with the devil and see how he could sway all the souls to him. So the devil would lie, cheat, steal and after time ended up having every last soul but grew bored since he no longer had a purpose he started religions to release them all back to God and the cycle would repeat. There is no real 'purpose' to sharing this just something that I've had similar to 'The Egg'. What is robber without things to steal? What is heaven without the concept of hell? Hard to escape duality when we have ego.
Ego, to me, is just one part of the duality of the Self. The other part could be named the Other, the one that lives within the Self, just like the Ego does.
Could be that when trying to practice Oneness, an attempt to balance the Ego and the Other, the Self trains to become whole again in order to become the Third option of the duality. The one that isn't.
Maybe too much and too less ego could be "bad"?
Where too much ego could result in prioritizing oneselfs wellbeing over the wellbeing of others?
Where too less ego coould result in prioritizing others wellbeings over the wellbeing of oneself?
For any of the two scenarios, I think that mindset is the counterpart of the psyche.
Although a mindset is location within the psyche.
But maybe when viewing it as sort of decoupled, it could be used as a tool to interfere with the psyche.
And then a mindset is not the result of the psyche anymore, instead the mindset could adjust the psyche.
A way to reshape someself.
Beware if used because it could go into both directions. (good and bad)
