the forum should be closed to the public..

Migrated topic.

i think it should be a bit more secret. it also shouldn't be so easy to sign up for an account. i think one should first give mr.traveller a good reason why one wants to join the forum so he can decide whether or not this person will contribute to it.

what do you think about this?

I do not think that narcs would be specifically interested in this site.
I think that you would draw attention to yourself and maybe this site if there is a certain pattern in other sites you might visit beside this site. If this site is visited by many people who frequently visit 'suspicious' sites, then this site will become suspicious two. I think this will even happen automatically. No narc will personally decide this, but some program will.
I'm not a computerexpert, but i think that there are ways to 'put a tail' onto computers visiting some sites, and some of these sites might be even hosted by narcs for this sole reason.
Those sites would be the sites of some RC-companies, some companies who sell certain chemical supplies, etc.

Maybe links to possibly 'infected' sites should be closed or looked at.
Someone once recomended an RC-company to me through this site. And since i have visited that companies site, my computer is just much, much slower. I don't know, but this gave me the creeps.

I think it should be open, as all sites like this.

Its not going to do us any good to run around in the shadows.

Hey, as a new member, I guess I'm one sided when I say, I think the forum should remain 'public', as it is currently; isn't their enough anonymity online as it is?

If a person is so concerned with safety, proxies, firewalls, latest software and hardware, ssl and computers bought under different names should be enough for the average person to evade detection, so there really shouldn't be a big concern about the authorities reading these sites.

Anyways, couldn't a LEO pretend to be just another curious member like someone who is legitimately trying to join, and be pretty much indistinguishable from one another?

I think it would be a shame to make the information here unavailable to the general public who doesn't want to join for whatever reasons. For as many members as there is here, there are a thousand lurkers who don't join but benefit from the material.

I'm with you. I'm freshly joined, but have been lingering in Guest mode for awhile. I never would have had a reason or interest in joining if I hadn't been able to read what was here in the first place
Actually... Close it... soonish.

Invite only starting in 2010, I say.
Why?

So we can be some exclusive elite group who hoard the latest developements in DMT extraction?

This site is the source of most modern innovations in DMT extraction, including working on making safer methods. What possible gain is there in closing the forum? We have a lot of lurkers here lately. I think that's a good thing. That means people are reading and understanding before jumping headling into extracting or asking redundant questions.

Well... perhaps there could be a "senior member status" which gives you access to other areas of the forums and lets people know you "safe".

To become a full senior member would be invite only, but the rest of site would be open otherwise.

Definately keep it open. Otherwise it defeats the purpose of having such a great place where intelligent explorers can share their ideas and experiences.

Aldos Huxley felt that LSD should not have been accessible to the public and he was probably right. In so far it is a blessing that DMT is "officially" protected!

It seems to be personality trait, and I respect it as such. It must be taking him some extra time to find and then decide which picture to attack to the posts. Pretty awright!

Some people like me just post the same picture all the time i.e. their avater pic.
