ive created a homemade diy dmt vaporizer machine literally called “the machine” to make it i had to drill a hole into bottom of glass bottle and put steel wool in neck of bottle but every time i use it so smoke dmt it burns i get a lot of smoke but when inhale it i don’t get high and i feel a weird tingly sensation on my tongue what am i doing wrong notes (i’m using a heat gun not a lighter)

Maybe try to sandwich the dmt in-between the wool. And use the lighter to heat the neck of the bottle from the side instead of from the top. Keep the lighter a few inches away and gently move the lighter in and out of the area.
Also I would do a dry burn on the wool first to burn off anything on it, before adding the spice.

A suggestion for loading the metal wool:

Now loading the machine with spice can be tricky the first time but gets easy.

Step 1: Prepare proper amount of spice. Step 2: Remove the scrubber ball from the machine. Step 3: Dab or Scrub some spice onto the ball, a bunch should stick. Step 4: By holding the lighter 4-5 inches away from the bulb melt the spice into the ball, it will stay gooey. Step 5: Repeat 3 and 4 until dose is on the machine.

With a bit more thinking, you can prepare a number of preloaded mesh pellets out of pipe screens, something which was most recently discussed once more in relation to electronic vaping.

When smoking:

Hold the lighter 3-4 inches below the ball, Start toking SLOWLY and it will likely start to smoke at that distance.Continue to move the lighter closer to the ball, got slowly and once the flame hits the ball all the spice will be vaporized.Enjoy!

^this is most probably for a "normal" lighter - with a jet flame one, the advice is as @salientbeings suggests - hold it rather further away and move gradually closer while gently inhaling until vaporisation commences.

There's a knack to this that will come with practice.

The machine is a classic. To be honest I could never get mine to work. And yes, it is all too easy to burn DMT.

Do you remember discussing the fact that you aren't getting much from DMT in chat? I don't want to put all your stuff out here for the general forum without your okay but this did come up and the guys did tell you what's up. Time is your ally.

Even 'undecomposed' freebase DMT can be pretty harsh, since it's technically a caustic amine. Anyone who's tried snorting it can confirm this
