The Nexian - One Month In

Just popping in as we're now a little over one month since starting work on the Nexian again šŸ„³ So here's a quick progress update.

We have three fully completed articles so far for The Nexian #3.
  • Cosmic Jest - A Series of Linked Entheogenic Experiences
  • Becoming Jurema
  • An Interview With Andrew Gallimore
On my end, I have one personal article and one collaborative in the works, as well as one or two other articles which I plan to continue contributing towards -- and then the parent interviews should be coming up early July, so I'll be reaching out to everyone who volunteered for that. For the Gallimore interview, he only got to answer 10 questions (while pushing 3K words -- quite substantial) so unfortunately some interesting questions didn't make it, but still very enjoyable. We've also got beautiful art from at least four different members to use. And then, we've got some really interesting ideas that were floating around but to my knowledge haven't become concrete yet -- so if you want it, get on it!!

I think this is really shaping up to be something special, but again, submissions are always needed. If you've got any updates, ideas, or issues on how you might wish to contribute, please let me know. Huge thanks to everyone involved so far, and here's to a successful future for Issue #3 šŸŽ‡

What about the zine? Is this still an issue? It is a time since last June.
Hi! Yes, it's been five months now since the project began, which obviously isn't ideal, but production hasn't 'stopped' on it. The main issue is that without enough submissions we can't have a finished zine. I believe we have six complete articles at the moment, but that's only around halfway to our goal.

I'm still steadily working on putting together my own articles, one of which seems to have sunk as I haven't been able to get in contact with @SkunK since he conducted interviews, but I haven't abandoned it by any means. It is taking much longer than intended, but I want yours and the other finished articles to be released sooner rather than later because I'd hate to see this work go unreleased as occurred with most of the progress in the previous attempt a decade ago.

I'll be working on the zine for as long as it takes to complete, we just need content from others who are enthusiastic about it as well.
