Theory about DMT and the Universe!

This is some information and ideas put together to make a theory about DMT and the Universe.

All sorts of theories can be put forth, another thing is proving them. And another thing that there is pretty much no "Ultimate explanation" for the universe, and trying to put such matter into words takes one further away from the "ultimate", or at least that's how I see it.
Even if one is convinced that his theory is "the one", one should think twice before thinking so. I think theories are doomed to stay as such and in the end give us very little information of "the big picture". Just my cents:wink:

However, I appreciate your theory and it has some good ideas in it, keep on exploring
 
Thanks tele I agree with what you're saying, one can't ultimately explain all of existence or label a theory as "the one", but as time goes by more and more things are revealed to us in someway and like a puzzle pieces fall into place we will answer more and more questions we have about this universe. Sure it seems a little far fetched at this time, but if ones mind is open to the possibilities it will take them further into ones consciousness. This is just one of many possibilities that could be out there. In closing, I feel there will always be a bigger picture behind what we imagine the bigger picture to be.

EDIT: To deedle-doo: well I fear that if one were to carrier matter over the barrier it would cause an imbalance in symmetry or have an EM reaction with its polar opposite (anti-matter) that could cause the two to cancel each other out, thus causing the possibility for a black hole or dimensional rip. Then again who is to say that is a bad thing. It might take you to a whole new dimension of reality.

No neurophysilogist has ever been able to explain addequately to me where bright light experienced in pitch blackness (under DMT) is generated from.
I thought this could be perception of the super-luminal universe, as described in Tachyon Theory (which is allowed under relativity).

wadaya think?

i will brush up on tachyon theory again...

That's a pretty radical prediction. I'm thinking about the news story of some hippy spawning a black hole in his bedroom. If this ever happens, I'm going to come right The Nexus and take my virtual hat off to you. Of course, then the authorities would actually have a legitimate excuse for the prohibition of DMT :lol:

It could come from the same place that the 'light' we see in phosphenes and dreams come from. It could really come from anywhere in the visual pathway.

You can make 'light' with your eyeballs in total darkness just press firmly and steadily on your closed eyes in a totally dark space. You'll experience pressure phosphenes.

Light is perceived in the very back of your head. Stimulate this area and you'll see light. Damage this area and you'll be blind even though your eyes work fine. I bet DMT stimulates the hell out of this area by plugging its inputs into ordinarily unconnected regions of the brain. Hopefully there will be some good imaging studies done someday to test this.

..sure, people like Callaway have tryptamine based theories for the effects experienced in dreams,
But what they really can't explain is how it all seems incredibly ordered, unknown to usual memory, entity-like,
and apparently experienced by more than one person at a time..

also phosphenes is not the same phenomena as having completely convincing 3D objects/entities apparently moving around the room..
(especially when experienced similarly by more than one person simultaneously such as in an ayahuasca session...)

discussions about receptors, transmitters, and scans showing areas of the brain lighting up do not 'explain' such things (to me at least)...
 
Yeah you're right. These are just correlations. What if we had a device that could activate or repress any combination of neurons in your brain? I predict that a capable 'brain DJ' could potentially give the most fantastic of visions. This would be much more convincing. Plus it would be freaking awesome! We'll see though. If there were such a device the gov't would probably ban it for personal use.
 
OH yes i'm familiar with the Tachyon Theory and Causality. These are all very interesting ideas guys maybe everyone in the universe should have a synchronized DMT experience, everything would go nuts. All that EMR causing EMI. haha maybe thats the key... a complete universal synchronized hyperspace event! count me in :p
