Claro in Vitam
I have painted these over the course of several weeks.
Several have a red hue, created by a dye of acacia bark.
I was on a walkabout with them, and met a woodcarver and sculptor in a far north forest. He made me 2 frames, the ones framed display his creation. We drank soma, and he added cannabutter to the brew, a great addition.

Your pieces have a very primal cave painting kind of vibe. Good work, I love to see that kind of stuff getting retooled through a modern eye.

Very abstract, creative and a hint of primal, indeed. I also see a touch of entheogenic/psychedelic, too. 😉 Well done! I used to do some abstract art similar to this but it always had a surreal aspect to it. Thanks for sharing and the refresh. 8)

They've been described as primitive before ... Strange notion but I accept it. My first one somehow escaped the attachment.
This is the first painting I've ever done
The second is the first I ever sold... For 15 dollars, because there was a desperate need for gas money on my journey

I've used it over painted drywall and it looks just like blood on that medium. I'll photograph these walls soon

A photo dump of acacia paintings!
Enjoy the photos dear nexus 8)

A note on the bottom 4 photos .... The Orange and Blue one features glow in the dark material, visible in all of the translucent-whitish lines, an amazing sight at night! Also shown is a 4x7ft plywood board titled 'Wasteland Garbage', prominently painted in acacia, as well as a 6x8ft fabric sheet painted as a tapestry titled 'Sheila's Elixir', also highlighted by lots of acacia features.

here's a painting done entirely with paint made from flowers

Thanks for posting these - your work inspires me!

What sequence did you paint these in? Have you posted them in chronological order?

The large one with lots of dots looks more 'developed' to me.

I haven't been able to get much photographed lately but lots of pictures will be posted soon .. i will be displaying, showing and selling my first 'acacian abstractism' lot, series titled 'to the revitalization of abstractism' it's about 100 pieces

i try to post them sequentially ... i have a plywood work shown in those photos in a few stages, i'll have to get a current photo of it tho its very developed and two sided

Nice work. There is, however, no such word in the English language as abstractism.

Just thought you should know if you're naming a show after it.

Yeah I think the term is abstract expressionism. :)
