So amongst my beloved torches, I have one cutting that is significantly yellowish compared to blue-green.

Can anyone remark on potential variation of potency from this coloration? Just wondering if someone knows how this affects the cactus. I'm still too new to be able to provide an accurate alkaloid measure and avearge contrast from just this cactus. But I do intend to learn. I know results and potency vary greatly in a myraid of variables.

I would expect the color difference to be from extreme exposure to sun. What do you think the reasons for the color are? (I recieved this cactus as is)

I've seen a pair of Pedros be quite beatup and yellow looking from southern exposure and lack of slow reacclimation to the sun in the new growing season.

Okay, I have to say, I just cut into it and it has the thickest core of all the torches I've cut thus far. I am going to guess that this cut is much older accounting for the color. I would like to fantasize age equaling greater potency...
