Tried and true Aya recipe?

Caapi
Chacruna
Chaliponga
Mimosa
Acacia
Syrian rue

But don't know how to prepare or what ratios are needed... Can anyone share a recipe that's a sure shot?

Blend 3.5 grams of Syrian rue, dump into a pot of 2 cups of water. Bring it up to a simmer (pot lid on) and then allow to cool down (I add a spoonful of honey to aid with the rough taste). Drink all of the Syrian rue tea and wait 45 minutes. Eat 5 - 8 grams of acacia acuminata or mimosa (it's hard to eat raw but I find it to be ok by chewing and swallowing with water). Go and find somewhere comfortable and let the magic happen.

10 grams was good, I saw a beautiful tunnel with the faces of all the ethnicities on earth. They were all smiling and happy and overjoyed that I was there

Don't eat raw bark! Make tea or if you've got crystals you can use those for a more controlled dosing.

I see a few things needing comment here.

Every batch you make will be different, even same batch hits differently on different occasions but is more consistent if drinking the same batch. All your plants will have fluctuating quantities. I'm always inclined to brew maoi and dmt plants separately and then combine the resulting teas after I've found a ratio that works well. Different folks prefer different ratios of dmt to harmala. I myself like harmala heavy brews but wouldn't recommend that you everyone.

For Rue 3-4g per serving is usually the range where people are happy with rue, though your individual makeup may be sensitive to harmala in different ways to usual. Same for acacia, chacruna, chali, aya etc..

Chacruna potency can vary drastically. 30-50g of one batch is a dose vs 10g being very strong. I wouldn't want to drink 50g of a 10g heavy dose chacruna, even if I wanted a strong experience.

You haven't mentioned which acacia you have which would change things because each acacia has a different average potency. If confusa then go with 10g-15g to start.

I've never used mimosa or chali so won't comment about them.

Basically you want to cook up enough for maybe 5 doses assuming average dosages and then you can always tweak the ratio to get where you want to be. You can always drink more.

Another thing is that true breakthroughs are harder to achieve with brews than smoking. Only one time could I say I came close to breakthrough with oral and it came about very unexpectedly.

Thats actually a great point. Breakthrough is a vaguely defined term and often not super useful.

Yes that sounds in the same vein as what mean. My point is that OP said they haven't been able to breakthrough with smoking and I am saying that oral isn't, strictly in my own experience, usually as intense as smoking in the sense of being fully blasted into another dimension as readily. Though I have lost contact with my body with an oral brew, I'm usually more embodied in brews vs smoking. Coming back into my body and realising, "oh yeah, right..this body thing".

Brews have taken SWIM farther than anything, but SWIM 's experience w vaping & smoalking is fairly limited.

I'd imagine it's analogous to cannabis. Longer experiences with slower onset (and potentially deeper experiences because of the extended state) with the oral route, compared to faster and more fireworks inhaled

@JungleGhost afaik a traditional recipe is twice as much pounded caapi as chacruna by volume, cooked in water for 1-3 days, strained and cooked down to a viscous liquid, being careful not to burn it. Prayer songs, good intentions, and mapacho smoke blowed on to the brew during the cooking as well

Just brew up a bunch of rue and mimosa separately and experiment until you are satisfied.

Trying to figure out personal ratios in combined brews is a lot more trial and error.

Yes, exactly! I am a bigger fan of oral brews myself than smoking. It has a different type of intensity because of its embodied, deeper feeling. I also find the oral route a deeper/fuller experience. Vaped with maois is a close second though.

I've known some people to go abit off cannabis after a heavy edible experience because the stoney feeling is deeper and more embodied vs smoking. Same kinda intensity with brews imo.
