Trypping-friendly nighttiming venues

What places can you recommend for a trypping SWIM's night out?

Do parties/venues exist where SWIY can wander around in a state of spiritual bliss, without fear of an intimidating fellow freaking one out? With tripper-friendly music and a trypping crowd preferably acquainted with mescaline and DMT?

I'm not really thinking of, say, a venue where everyone's all just pilled up and dancing to drum and bass, techno or psytrance. I'm thinking more places where at least some people are actually trypping. They must exist! But if they don't, then I guess places which are trypper-friendly will do.

My take is that it really depends on what you mean by "trypping".

In Austin you can go anywhere and trip as long as you keep cool.No one will fuck with you.

If you want to lie prostrate on the ground and leave your body,then i would just stay home.
 
Haha I mean mobile and making sense, not prostate and in another dimension! On some mescaline maybe.
For example, at the Acid Tests in the late 60s loads of people were on acid, but still at a party.
 
Well in Austin from what i can remember :lol: Stubbs is fine, used to trip and big chief up in there.

Marley fest at Zilker was cool.Willie's 4th of July fest,but that was ten years ago I would be more careful now.

Any large venue outdoors has always been fine.Cops in back watching, no joke.

Does anyone have any suggestions for Europe?... If what I'm looking for exists, Nexus members will've been there already...

Psytrance and goa parties if you're into that sort of music. You can find open-air festivals everywhere in Europe now that summer is here. It's not strictly a venue, more like a summer camp for "likeminded" people and definitely substance tolerant.
SWIM's been to a couple in his home country and found it quiet psychedelic even without any substance...and very tripper friendly with them.
 
Sacred Earth Open-Air in Black River Falls, WI coming up in a couple of weeks, very excited :D

and then Lollapalooza which I may be going to, its quite the lineup I say.

.btw, an OBE will do ya no good at these types of festivals. A nice visit to Sea World might though, unless you're pumped on acid and threatening Shamu. You'll get tazered:?
 
SWIM would go to a park or woods some where rather than some loud hot club. SWIM is not big on being around a lot of people but enjoys the company of a few other trippers and the great outdoors. Nature is beautiful as is but especially on psychedelics also amazing realizations can come while looking at nature. Trees make for great faces and patterns as well. Outside is great during the day as well as at night. Personally SWIM enjoys the day much more as you can look at things and the visuals play off of light (contrary to what TM says but on 5g of mush I guess the set makes little difference so long as it is not negative).

For clubbing or going out at night one would want an empathogen or stimulant rather than a true psychedelic at least in swims opinion. To each his own...
