Under saturation? and minor succes

Good afternoon lovely humans,

The typing fingers have not been around much for a few years since last posting. Nor has there been much abundance of interesting inner travelling. Some chaotic energy on our planet has been crashing like waves against our many tiny islands of self without question. Enough said about that.

There was recently the good fortune to learn some new skills that has brought an air of excitement. The first mistake was too much naptha in the demijohn of mhrb a/b-NaOH soup, A lesson learned. 20 hours of freezer time with zero yield. That solvent is now sitting in an evap jar in the garage in the hopes that the primary attempt was not a complete waste. If there was any advice about this predicament it would be strongly welcomed and appreciated.

On the positive spectrum a small mason jar attempt came out beautifully. Very small yield but the dazzling little shapes of white brought joy and gratitude to where ever that gift was granted from.

For a complete novice the happiness is bubbling over.

Second pull on the mason jars was beautiful again and yet the demijohn doesnt seem to be feeling generous. Perhaps a bad naptha brand? Clipper brand light fluid, research said was ok after a brief search, but could be the problem. Was it over kill on the NaOH without realising? Intention to be self sufficient with the research but coming up short.
