anyone have experience in acacia extractions with a pressure cooker?

will the temperature be too high? was planned on incorporate the thick light tek using pressure cooker instead of boils, i'm hoping the high pressure temperature will improve yields and not destroy alkaloids.

Whats the pressure rating on your PC?

I have never PCed acacia, only mimosa.

mine can reach up to 15 psi, which means it can reach a temperature of 121°C

This is not enough to destroy the alkaloids, but definitely enough to destroy the plant cells.
Pressure cooking can reduce the time spent extracting, therefore, better yields in less time.

You could eventually reach the results of a pressure cooker with hours upon hours of strenuous open atmosphere boiling.

my pressure cooker is pretty large, and goes up to 20 psi. I think i'll load a half gallon mason jar with a lb of AC. add 150 ml or so of vinegar, top with water, and cook on 15 psi for 90 minutes.

dump soup in another pot, then pressure cook bark a second time, with fresh water and vinegar, at 90 minutes 15 psi. I absolutely don't think there will be a need for a 3rd pressure cook run. Maybe i'll be able to increase my acacia yields to at least 1% goo and crystal.
